Gracious Greens Smoothie + Matthew 6:25 Devotional

Hi friend and welcome back to Sunday Morning Smoothies with Sam!

Join faith-based dietitian and the owner of Forks and Grace, Sam Turner, and feel nourished both physically and spiritually.

In this video you will be making Forks and Grace’s Gracious Greens Smoothie.

The recipe is below with the suggested amounts for each ingredient:

Grapefruit Green Smoothie

  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 1 cup of romaine lettuce
  • 1 english cucumber
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup pineapple, frozen
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 1-2 cup(s) milk of choice
  • Optional: add protein powder or greek yogurt for more protein

The devotional for the week is for Matthew 6:25 – Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

At the end of the devotional, you will learn an exercise that will help you reduce your feelings of stress and overwhelm by taking your burdens and placing them at the feet of Jesus.
