Lemon and Love Smoothie Recipe + Proverbs 25:16 Devotional

Hi friend and welcome back to Sunday Morning Smoothies with Sam!

Join faith-based dietitian and the owner of Forks and Grace, Sam Turner, and feel nourished both physically and spiritually.

In this video you will be making Forks and Grace’s Lemon and Love Smoothie.

This is a great recipe to help relieve symptoms of nausea and indigestion. The recipe is below with the suggested amounts for each ingredient:

Lemon and Love Smoothie:

  • 2 lemons, deseeded – grate lemon zest
  • 2 cup cauliflower, frozen
  • 2 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1-2 cups of water

The devotional for the week is for Proverbs 25:16 If you have found honey, eat only enough for you, lest you have your fill of it and vomit it.

This week I want you to work on journaling your reflections before and after you eat your meals and/or snacks.

  • How hungry were you before you ate?
  • What was your mood before you ate?
  • How much did you actually eat?
  • How you felt after you finished eating? Still hungry? Satisfied? Too Full?
